During the first 12 months after order shipment date, we offer an unconditional media replacement guarantee. We require that the damaged media (VHS, DVD or CD) be returned and on receipt we will immediately send you a new copy.

During the next 24 months, i.e. between 12 and 36 months after order shipment date, we offer a modified media replacement policy. We will ship you any individual replacement unit (CD, DVD or VHS) for $20.00 including any sales tax, shipping and handling. We require that the damaged media be returned.

What are the differences?

OS/X compatibility:

EASY Version 2.1 is a hybrid and runs on MAC OS 8/9 and Windows 98, 2000 and XP.

EASY Version 2.2, released in February 2005, will also run on MAC OS/X – i.e. the same hybrid CD will run on all these operating systems - Windows 98, 2000 and XP and MAC OS 8/9 and OS X.

Student Reporting:

EASY Version 2.2, on a session-by-session basis, as the student exits, displays the time the student spent in each lesson and the number of recordings they made. It then optionally prints out this Time On Task analysis in a format suitable to be signed/certified by a teacher and added to the student’s personal portfolio and/or the school’s attendance record-keeping system.

What are the costs?

If EASY was purchased after 10/1/2004 we will upgrade your CDs free of charge. We require that the CDs to be upgraded be returned and on receipt we will immediately send you the new set.

If the purchase was older, and therefore you have had reasonable use of them, we will replace any original complete set of (6) CDs at each level with Version 2.2 for $100 per set per level. The price includes any sales tax, shipping and handling. We require that the CDs to be upgraded be returned and on receipt we will immediately send you the new set.

What are the differences?

OS/X compatibility:

EASY Version 2.1 runs on Windows 98, 2000 and XP with a Novell or Windows server.

Version 2.2 will also run on MAC OS/X – see the network configurations supported.

Student Reporting:

On-going Student Report in Excel format:

The Network Version, not the standalone version, also maintains a simple ASCII file on the server that keeps a running record of all students’ activities – lesson by lesson. This file is Microsoft EXCEL compatible and can be accessed by the end-user. Note that no example reports are supplied.

What are the costs?

We will update any existing network customers at the request of their local dealer. There will be a charge for this of $100 for each level of EASY, unless purchased after 10/01/2004 in which it is free of charge. It is not necessary to return the old CDs, please delete the old version when you upgrade to the new.
